Carbon Taxing Fraud by Junior Trudeau - letter to PMO and BS response

A short while ago I wrote the following letter to PM Trudeau.  I did get a response, but it did not deal with the controversy re: whether or not Taxing would do anything worthwhile to stop or retard global warming or whether not such a policy was merely a dishonest money grab that would ultimately be quite costly for all Canadian taxpayers.

Check out my email and, if your mind is not closed and governed only by emotional nonsense impervious to facts, science and logic; also check out the book I referred to Trudeau.

Subject : faint hope letter re your Carbon Tax plans >>>>
To: The Prime Minister of Canada

I strongly suspect I am wasting my efforts in sending this to you. My
experience working at the highest levels of government in Saskatchewan
has demonstrated to me that politicians, especially those in office,
rarely read anything of importance, outside of the briefing notes
carefully concocted for them by their underlings, and are often
sublimely ignorant of the true facts about nearly everything. Your
colleagues in Ontario are another perfect example of this syndrome or
behaviour. Nevertheless, here is some meaty food for thought. If
nothing else is accomplished by this email, at least I can say I tried
to help. I recommend that everyone should read this book.

I am also compelled to add that your Carbon Tax policy is not only
merely a tax grab, but will, along with the other Carbon Tax policies of
most of the provinces, be disastrous economically and is entirely
wrong-headed and misguided.

A book everyone should read on Global Warming.

The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World's
Top Climate Scientists Hardcover - Apr 13 2010
by Roy W Spencer (Author)

The Great Global Warming Blunder unveils new evidence from major
scientific findings that explode the conventional wisdom on climate
change and reshape the global warming debate as we know it. Roy W.
Spencer, a former senior NASA climatologist, reveals how climate
researchers have mistaken cause and effect when analyzing cloud behavior
and have been duped by Mother Nature into believing the Earth's climate
system is far more sensitive to human activities and carbon dioxide than
it really is.

In fact, Spencer presents astonishing new evidence that recent warming
is not the fault of humans, but the result of chaotic, internal natural
cycles that have been causing periods of warming and cooling for
millennia. More carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is not necessarily to
be feared; The Great Global Warming Blunder explains that burning of
fossil fuels may actually be beneficial for life on Earth.

As group-think behavior and misguided global warming policy proposals
threaten the lives of millions of the world's poorest, most vulnerable
citizens, The Great Global Warming Blunder is a scintillating expose and
much-needed call for debate.' (the foregoing is the marketing blurb
accompanying Amazon.ca's touting of the book on their site, but it is
pretty much on the mark)

Here is something else I just got sent to me. If the quoted statistics
are correct, it is further food for thought.

China is making fools of us dupes in the former democracies

In 2010, China produced 11 times more steel than the United States.

New World Record: China made and sold 18 million vehicles in 2010.

There are more pigs in China than in the next
43 pork producing nations combined.

China currently has the worlds fastest train and
the worlds largest high-speed rail network.

China is currently the number one producer in the
world of wind and solar power, but don't use it
themselves. While they manufacture 80% of the
world's solar panels, they install less than 5% and
build a new coal fired power station every week.
In one year they turn on more new coal powered
electricity than Australia's total output.

China currently controls more than 90% of the
total global supply of rare earth elements.

In the past 15 years, China has moved from 14th
place to 2nd place in the world in published scientific
research articles.

China now possesses the fastest supercomputer on
the entire globe.

At the end of March 2011, China accumulated US$3.04
trillion in foreign currency reserves--the largest
stockpile on the entire globe.

Chinese people consume 50,000 cigarettes every second.

They are already the largest carbon dioxide emitter and
their output will rise 70% by 2020.

And we think we're saving the planet?! It will not make one iota of
difference what we do in Australia, Canada, the United States or
anywhere else in the world for that matter. All the politicians are
doing is increasing our cost of living and making our manufacturers
uncompetitive in the world market with their idiotic carbon tax when
countries like China are growing and consuming at these extraordinary
rates! Time to wake up!
