Feminist Harridan attacks men - Accuses them of Toxic Masculinity
The poisonous anti-male vitriol of Rachel Giese has been published by the National Post - only God knows why!
Having matured through the last 80 years of Canadian history, I know a lot about masculinity and having divorced a toxic wife (read - feminist, Marxist, harridan (or modern harpy)) and raised two girls to whom I was the primary parent, I also know a lot about femininity, including toxic femininity. The latter version of femininity, such as that of B. Friedan and others of her ilk, who pervaded and infested universities and left-wing politics of the mid to late 20th century and the early 21st, which is men hating and boy-hating, has done its utmost to turn boys into girls.
Giese may be a wonderful person, but I am unable to assume that. To seize upon the almost universally condemned behaviour of pampered, entitled and self-absorbed males students in US or Canadian college Fraternity Dens, as she has done, and then apply that to boys and young men in general, is disingenous to say the least, and at worst, deliberately misleading. The vast majority of young men do not demonstrate the behaviour she bases her narrative on, neither as bullies or full of hatred of females, nor do they fit that mold. The boys and young men of my youth, and even of my University days, did not fit that mold. The research of the well-known Toronto professor of psychology, Jordan Peterson, and his almost universal popularity because of his analysis of the difficulties placed in the path of young men by the aforesaid toxic feminists and their ideology of hatred, flies in the face of Ms. Giese's thesis and distorted views. Is she contending for a Justin Trudeau award for lies and exaggeration?
