Canadian government basing its 'Climate Change' policies on a lie - will Conservative party challenge this?

"In choosing to mislead Canadians on climate change, the Liberals are basing their election campaign on a known lie" is a sub-headline of Gwyn Morgan's article mentioned below.

Canadians are being taxed and penalized for no valid reason by Trudeau's Liberals.  Will the Conservative opposition challenge these lies and bad policies in the upcoming federal election?

See Mr. Morgan's article outlining the scope of the problem caused by  Trudeau's lies and his attempt to con Canadians to vote for him because of his claim that by doing so they will 'save the planet':

Additional Comment:

Morgan cites some facts: "As good little scout Canada struggles mightily to meet its commitments under the Paris climate accord, the vast majority of nations on the planet have already given up on the pact. Last year, global greenhouse gas emissions grew by an estimated 2.7 per cent. So if Canada’s economy had simply ceased to exist, our 1.6 per cent of global emissions would have been replaced in just seven months.  These are irrefutable facts."

So what can we do?  We can make every reasonable effort to mitigate actual and potential losses to people who may be harmfully affected by weather caused events.  This can include risk management efforts and compensation where necessary.  That is common sense, instead of adopting airy-fairy policies and measures that are ill-advised and foolish, like subsidizing electric vehicles, building windmills, taxing the release of carbon dioxide gas, a life-sustaining gas and a miniscule contributor to climate change,  and other proven foolishnesses.

Isn't it about time that the Conservatives adopted a mitigation strategy and tell the truth about the causes of climate change and set themselves apart from the Liberals?
